The redesign ...
I had always felt that my site needed something, I did not know what but it was there... like a splinter in my mind... I knew that the spark of creativity had a shadow some where. Though I know, perfection interms of satutory standards are not yet achieved; I am satisfied as of now. I keep revamping and redesigning my website all over at will! |

This web design in vogue now, is called version 2011. I added the horizontal dropdown menu and the slide show in the Home page. Perhaps it was time or limitations placed by circumstances that even though I wanted to learn the coding part for the same and write it on my own during integration, I could not (or I was just too lazy); that I deceided to copy paste the codes for the said drop down menu and the slide show. I would definitely like to acknowledge the credits for these scripts. They are as follows:
- Drop down menucode obtained from: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa218659(v=office.11).aspx
- Slide show code obtained from: http://www.ricocheting.com/code/javascript/html-generator/image-slideshow-v2

When I redesigned my website during the early days of the year 2010, I spent much of my time wondering the same and then it dawned on me that indeed my web site was missing the following.
- A guide that would direct the visitor to the next page and back. This eliminated any chances of the visitor being A guide that would direct the visitor to the next page and back. This eliminated any chances of the visitor being "lost" in the web site. Please check the "Previous page" and "Next page"
- A more meaningful navigation, hence the reprogramming of the navigation scripts.
- The ability to move within the web site while fetching content. Hence a more structured navigation programming.
- Addition of the header and the footer in the form of external scripts, as these would appear in every page.
- Appearance of the links as buttons where ever possible.
- Incorporation of navigation at the bottom to make room for other sections to be added above and the site structure remains intact.
- There are many things in my web site that I have either referenced from external sources, borrowed in the form of images, content etc. A Copy right page to humbly denote what is mine and FULL credit for what belongs to others.
